Once long ago, a single creature, a shade of beautiful milky white could be seen wandering hills of flowers. Her name was Luna. She'd do this often, feeling quite lonely for being without a companion for so long. Every day that passed only caused her to become more sorrowful, longing and wishing to not be so alone anymore.Eventually, on a rather lucky night, came the full moon. On this fated day, she shed tears like every other night. However, this particular night was different.Staring up at the moon, tears dripped down her fur falling onto a beautiful flower that suddenly, began to change. She noticed this, and taking a step back in shock, she watched. There, lying beneath her eyes was a pup. Small and frail it lifted its head to let out a small whimper, revealing its forehead marking. It looked very similar to Luna's.She laid by the pup, keeping it close as she lifted her head to stare up at the moon. She felt happy. All her sadness was lifted by this one night.

So, on every full moon, she would travel to this hill. Picking out the most beautiful flowers in the patches, and think of her unfortunate past life, being lonely. This caused her to be overjoyed of how happy she felt now, and shed more tears from this happiness onto the flower chosen.The "mother" of all moon pups, only growing her family larger and larger as each full moon passes.This is how every moon pup is born into existence.
